HFPS Logo Competition
Hawick Flood Protection Scheme have been working closely with the Primary 6 and 7 classes of Wilton Primary School over the past few weeks. We explored elements of the project with the children such as Civil Engineering, Graphic Design and the Hawick Active Travel Network.
As part of our Graphics Design presentation we worked with the pupils to help them explore their knowledge and understanding of the main principle’s and themes behind the graphic design of the Hawick Flood Protection logo. They then put their new skills to the test by creating their very own HFPS Logo. To celebrate the children’s hard work, their brilliant graphic design skills were entered into our Hawick Flood Protection Logo Competition to be featured on our website. Congratulations to the classes of Primary 6 & 7 on their excellent logo designs.
The children’s hard work and talent made it a very difficult task to select a winner and runners up for the Logo Competition. We are delighted to announce Bethany Kerr as the winner of the competition, whose logo will feature on our website’s homepage. We would also like to congratulate our runners up, Ava Stewart, Beau Walker, Murray McDonnell, Evie Cranston, Julia Pietrzak and Nathan Bird whose logos you can find throughout our website.
