Investment for Active Travel in Hawick Announced

Transport Scotland have announced that Scottish Borders Council have been awarded funding from the Scottish Government through the Sustrans Places for Everyone to deliver an Active Travel Network (ATN) through Hawick. The ATN will be delivered in partnership with the Flood Scheme and this funding will also enable additional links to be created to communities further away from the river. We will be consulting with the public throughout 2021, however in the meantime you can check out the announcement here.
