The Works

The complex main construction works involved in building Hawick’s new flood protection scheme will get underway in Spring 2020.  They are scheduled to be completed in early 2023.

During that period, they will no doubt be a prominent feature of life in the town.  We are committed to carrying out the works with the minimum possible disruption to local residents and businesses.  Our aim is to provide information designed to keep everybody up-to-speed on developments as the works progress.
