Presenting the Scheme to Institute of Civil Engineers

In the Spring, Steven Vint, from the Project Team spoke about delivering flood protection and multiple benefits to Hawick at a webinar hosted by the Institute of Civil Engineers, ICE. Steven is a Senior Associate Director of Water & Environment at Jacobs and has been involved with the Project since its outset.

Steven discusses how risks were turned into opportunities for further enhancement to the town. He explains how the team made certain decisions and managed to achieve multiple benefits with the assigned budget.
